Terra Novus Labs Presents Novus Scan, a Plagiarism Scanner For Mac OS X

Rolling Meadows, Illinois – Terra Novus Labs announces the availability of their plagiarism checking utility, Novus Scan. Users can import documents into its database using drag-and-drop or a file open dialog. Then, users import the text that they’d like to scan. Novus Scan compares the text to its document database using a two-step scanning algorithm that first finds candidate documents, and then compares them word-by-word to the text that you’re scanning.
