PopCap Releases Major Update for Plants vs. Zombies

PopCap Games, the worldwide leader in casual video games, today announced the global release of major updates to Plants vs. Zombies™ HD for the iPad® and Plants vs. Zombies for the iPhone® and iPod® touch. These robust updates deliver the additional content, action and challenge that Apple smart device users have been anticipating, and are available immediately from the Apple App Store, or via iTunes for U.S. $6.99 (iPad) and U.S $2.99 (iPhone and iPod touch). Existing customers can download the updates at no cost. Some of the newly added content is completely free, while some must be purchased with in-game currency that can in turn be earned through gameplay or purchased via micro-transaction.

Encyclopedia Britannica launches iPhone, iPad app

 

The app, which is available in the iTunes app store, is the latest move in a shift to digital publishing from Britannica, which ceased production in book form after more than 200 years following declining sales.
