Hulu rolled out an update to its iPad app that adds support for the Retina Display of the new iPad. The latest version has a new look and feel as well as an enhanced video playback engine. Hulu also has improved AirPlay mirroring and HDMI support, so you can watch your content on your HDTV.

Turn Your iPad Into an SLR Camera
Josh Apter, founder of the Manhattan Edit Workshop, has created two new developments in tablet photography. The ‘Padcaster’ is a device for mounting an iPad onto a tripod and the ‘Lenscaster’ is a universal mount for attaching SLR lenses to the iPad’s camera.
The Padcaster is a rugged case that allows you to connect a DSLR lens to the iPad’s camera, and mount the tablet on a standing tripod. You can even add a flash and other accessories such as an external microphone or a filter. Mix in the fact that the iPad can run hundreds of photo and video editing applications, and you have the recipe for quite the portable setup.
