RANDA Develops Mobile Assessment Solutions for iTouch and iPad

RANDA Solutions, an education technology firm based in Nashville, TN, has announced the development of their Mobile Assessment Lab solution for large-scale assessments. RANDA’s Mobile Assessment application is designed initially to run on Apple’s iTouch and iPad, yet is scheduled to be made available across platforms to other hand-held devices. NPD: Apple Owners More Interested in iPad

Even though the iPad doesn’t officially become available for another week, awareness is strong among certain key demographic groups, according to a new report by leading market research company The NPD Group. NPD’s Apple iPad:Consumers’ Perceptions and Attitudes report found that awareness is highest among current Apple owners, (82 percent), consumers with $100,000 or greater income (80 percent), and 18-34 year olds (78 percent).
