Jobaya Tests VOD Service for iPhone and iPad
Apple is facing a fresh challenge from a UK start-up for control of video delivery to the iPhone and the iPad. Jobaya has developed a Video on Demand solution for both devices based entirely on Amazon’s AWS cloud infrastructure. Content will be stored, transcoded and streamed from the Cloud. The service will use custom web apps for each type of device supported, starting with the iPhone and the iPad, and extending to Android and Windows Mobile devices.
